Welcome to Jay Vanier for Kansas ("Campaign," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website https://www.jayvanier.com/, our sign-up forms, our SMS messaging program, our email communications, and any related services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using the Services — including by submitting a sign-up form, opting in to receive SMS messages, contributing to the Campaign, or otherwise communicating with us — you agree to be bound by these Terms and our [Privacy Policy](/privacy). If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of our Services.

## 1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, that any information you provide is accurate and truthful, and that you have the authority to enter into these Terms.

## 3. SMS Messaging Program
If you provide your phone number and opt in to our SMS messaging program, you consent to receive recurring text messages from Jay Vanier for Kansas. These messages may include event reminders, issue updates, volunteer opportunities, and donation requests.

- Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details.
- Reply HELP at any time for assistance.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out. After you reply STOP, you will no longer receive SMS messages from the Campaign.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Participating carriers include (but are not limited to): AT&T, T-Mobile®, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, Alltel (Verizon Wireless), U.S. Cellular, Cellular One, MetroPCS, and others.
- Your text-messaging opt-in data will not be rented, sold, or shared with third parties for promotional purposes.

## 4. Email Communications
By providing your email address to the Campaign, you consent to receive recurring email communications from Jay Vanier for Kansas, which may include newsletters, updates, donation requests, event invitations, and promotional information. You may opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at info@jayvanier.com.
## 5. Donations and Political Contributions
Donations to Jay Vanier for Kansas are processed through the WinRed platform. By making a contribution, you represent and warrant the following:
- You are a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident
- The contribution is made from your own personal funds and is not reimbursed by another person or entity
- You are not a federal contractor or foreign national prohibited from making contributions under applicable law
- The contribution complies with all applicable federal and Kansas campaign-finance laws, including contribution limits
Contributions to the Campaign are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes.
The Campaign is required by Kansas and federal law to use its best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed certain thresholds.

## 6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Services — including text, images, photographs, graphics, logos, button icons, audio clips, digital downloads, and software — is the property of Jay Vanier for Kansas or its content suppliers and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Services without our prior written consent, except that you may print or download one copy of a reasonable number of pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.
## 7. Third-Party Links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Jay Vanier for Kansas. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Jay Vanier for Kansas, its officers, agents, employees, and volunteers from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to your use of the Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. You agree that any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Saline County, Kansas.
